Transfer from Delhi to Dalhousie by AC Volvo Bus -Overnight journey - (540kms)

Welcome onboard to a beautiful destination Dalhousie. Known for its pleasant climate and natural beauty, Dalhousie is one of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. ... Surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains, Dalhousie is named after its founder Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor-General in India.

Overnight Journey by bus.

Morning reach Dalhousie and driver will meet you and transfer into your hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Later day is free.

In the afternoon visit Satdhara Falls. The place is beautifully surrounded by fresh and lush green deodar and pine vegetation. An amazing view of snow-laden mountain ranges escalates the elegance of the entire region in Chamba valley.

Panchpula is a tourist destination, a combined zone for stunning waterfall and a mesmerizing picnic spot. The beautiful place lies in the lap of lavishing forest of deodar and pine. At this place, five different streams combine together. The mainstream of Panchpula is also the source of water to the numerous localities of Dalhousie.

Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Excursion to Khajjiar

Khajjiar also known as “Mini-Switzerland” of India. It is one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island. enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding etc. at your own cost. (In case of heavy snowfall during winters, the road to Khajjiar will be blocked. In such a case you can still visit Khajjiar from an alternate route with an extra transport cost. Or you can visit nearby sightseeing Chamera lake with no additional price)

Visit: Chamba

Chamba is a medieval town situated at a little distance from the marvel of Dalhousie. It is beautifully nestled against an amazing backdrop of marvellous green hills and a pristine river. The local folklore and the mystical temples add to the unique charm of the place. An important tourist attraction in this town is the renowned ancient museum Bhuri Singh Museum. Here you will find a number of aesthetically adorned inscriptions, paintings as well as much more that reveal the ancient history of Chamba and its rulers. Another must-visit spot is the Old Palace or the Rang Mahal located within the district that houses the Himachal Emporium. Here you can find beautiful local items and mementos, that can be perfect gifts for your family and friends. There is also a store in the emporium, which sells a number of local handicrafts and specialties like chappals and shawls.

Depart Dalhousie (Overnight Journey)

After breakfast. Day free to explore the city on your own. In the evening we will drop you at Volvo bus stand for your journey back home. Overnight journey by Volvo to Delhi.

Any amendment and cancellation in the booking before 10 days RS.500 Per Person are chargeable as communication charges.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER AND NOTE:

Tour-programme is subject to change depending upon circumstances. Vehicle is not at disposal - means it is for transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary.
A/C will not work in Vehicle during your journey in Hills
Due to any unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeure circumstances incurred during the tour such as Road Blockage, Route change, vehicle unable to move due to snow in road, hotel shut operation, Protest etc and required to arrange extra vehicle or hotel, will be on extra charges and Guest has to pay directly.
Check in at 1400 hrs and check out 1100 hrs (Early Check in & Late checkout are subject to availability)

Names of hotels mentioned in the proposed hotels only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. We reserve the right to change the same due to availability issue with the hotel, or unavoidable circumstances. In that case we may provide alternative, similar accommodation and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

MEALS:

The menus are pre – set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation. In standard/Budget category of hotels the meals preferences are veg meals, unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are mixture of veg and non veg preferences.

Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.

ITINERARY CHANGES:

For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In

the event if guest misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.

The timings mentioned in Day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits, en route meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.

CONDITION OF TRAVEL

Please note the readymade packages are made on the basis of destinations to be visited, sightseeing’s/excursions and activities to be done during the tour, keeping in view the time, cost and other factors while designing the package. The guest has to strictly follow the Tour itinerary. Any additional sightseeing’s and excursions apart from the suggested itinerary will be on supplement cost. Any additional transfers/ pickups/drops apart from the proposed itinerary shall be subject to additional charges payable apart from the package quote.

In case where a guest along with his family is unable to join or continue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of any travel documents, flight/train delays or cancellation no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services, his booking shall be treated as 'no show' on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.

TRANSPORT

We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire, Innova/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case, any of the sightseeing schedules is missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances. Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

IDENTITY PROOFS:

It is mandatory to carry the Photo identity Proof during travel and have to be presented at the time of Check Inn in all hotels for security reason.

OPTIONAL TOURS

Price for many tours like Rohtang Pass, visit to Atal tunnel, Chamba, Kangra etc are not included in price and Guest has to pay extra for any optional sightseeing they need to visit.
