Welcome to Delhi, and be ready for a wonderful journey to “Dharamshala & Dalhousie” Himachal. At Delhi Airport or Railway station our Driver will meet you and drive you to Dharamshala by road. Lying in the Shadow of mighty Dhauladhar range, the beautiful town has everything to offer you.

Mcleodganj serves as the Capital of the Tibetan Government in exile. Often referred to as “Little Lhasa”, the vivid character of the city attracts many visitors from all parts of the world.

After Breakfast enjoy your Dharamshala City tour. Visit International Cricket Stadium, State War Memorial (Entrance payable directly)- The picturesque venue is unique in India as it is situated at an altitude of 1,457 m above the sea level and has the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the background. The War Memorial is located near Stadium and in the pine forest of Dharamshala it was built to commemorate the memory of those who fought valiantly for the honor of their motherland.

Later Visit Dal Lake, St John Church, Bhagsu Nath Temple, waterfall and Dalai Lama Temple

Dal Lake Located at the height of 1775 mtr above the sea level, the Dal Lake is a small yet picturesque lake surrounded by rugged mountains and towering deodar trees and is a marvelous place to be at. Your Next stop is St. John Church is this Anglican church lies in the forest near Forsythe Gunj. This neo—Gothic stone church was built in 1852 and has some fine Belgian stained-glass windows. Later drive to Bhagsunag: This ancient temple is 2 kms from Mcleodganj. Close to this temple is a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is present at a walkable distance from the Bhagsu temple and a perfect place to revel in the glories of nature and spend some quiet moments in peace and serenity. Your last destination is the Dalai Lama Temple: It is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been here for almost four decades. The impressive monastery has larger than life images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avalokteshwara.

Now time is free to enjoy the Mcleodganj Market- Grab some souvenirs like Singing bowls, Jewelry, Buddha statues, Prayer flags, Prayer wheels, rugs, Handcrafted diaries, Local Tibetan handicraft, paintings, etc from the local market.

After breakfast, proceed to Dalhousie - Known for its pleasant climate and natural beauty, Dalhousie is one of the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. ... Surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains, Dalhousie is named after its founder Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor-General in India. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Khajjiar also known as “Mini-Switzerland” of India. It is one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island. enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing, horse riding etc. at your own cost. (In case of heavy snowfall during winters, the road to Khajjiar will be blocked. In such a case you can still visit Khajjiar from an alternate route with an extra transport cost. Or you can visit nearby sightseeing Chamera lake with no additional price)

Later drive back to Dalhousie and visit Panchpula, St Francis Catholic Church and Mall Road

Later, a drive to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Morning After Breakfast drive back to Delhi for your onward journey. Your Dharamshala and Dalhousie tour ends with beautiful memories.

Rooms holding shall be for a period of 72 hours only.

Any amendment and cancellation in the booking before 10 days RS.500 Per Person are chargeable as communication charges.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER AND NOTE:

Tour-programme is subject to change depending upon circumstances. Vehicle is not at disposal - means it is for transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary.
A/C will not work in Vehicle during your journey in Hills
Due to any unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeure circumstances incurred during the tour such as Road Blockage, Route change, vehicle unable to move due to snow in road, hotel shut operation, Protest etc and required to arrange extra vehicle or hotel, will be on extra charges and Guest has to pay directly.
Check in at 1400 hrs and check out 1100 hrs (Early Check in & Late checkout are subject to availability)

Names of hotels mentioned in the proposed hotels only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. We reserve the right to change the same due to availability issue with the hotel, or unavoidable circumstances. In that case we may provide alternative, similar accommodation and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

MEALS:

The menus are pre – set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation. In standard/Budget category of hotels the meals preferences are veg meals, unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are mixture of veg and non veg preferences.

Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.

ITINERARY CHANGES:

For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In

the event if guest misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.

The timings mentioned in Day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits, en route meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.

CONDITION OF TRAVEL

Please note the readymade packages are made on the basis of destinations to be visited, sightseeing’s/excursions and activities to be done during the tour, keeping in view the time, cost and other factors while designing the package. The guest has to strictly follow the Tour itinerary. Any additional sightseeing’s and excursions apart from the suggested itinerary will be on supplement cost. Any additional transfers/ pickups/drops apart from the proposed itinerary shall be subject to additional charges payable apart from the package quote.

In case where a guest along with his family is unable to join or continue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of any travel documents, flight/train delays or cancellation no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services, his booking shall be treated as 'no show' on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.

TRANSPORT

We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire, Innova/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case, any of the sightseeing schedules is missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances. Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

IDENTITY PROOFS:

It is mandatory to carry the Photo identity Proof during travel and have to be presented at the time of Check Inn in all hotels for security reason.

OPTIONAL TOURS

Price for many tours like Rohtang Pass, visit to Atal tunnel, Chamba, Kangra etc are not included in price and Guest has to pay extra for any optional sightseeing they need to visit.
